Enquiry and discovery call

A conversation, not a pitch. Twenty minutes on what your business does, what breaks when you get busy, and whether there is a systems problem here worth solving at all.

Free

No charge, no obligation, and no proposal you did not ask for. If an off-the-shelf tool is the right answer we will name the tool, and that is the end of it.

Request a 20-minute call

  • What happens between someone first hearing about you and you getting paid, in your own words
  • Where that breaks when the week gets busy, and what it costs you when it does
  • A straight view on whether this is a build, an off-the-shelf tool, or nothing
  • If there is something worth doing, exactly what the Diagnostic would cover and what it costs

Technical Diagnostic

£750

Before we quote a build that has to work with systems you already run, we connect to them and find out whether they can work together at all.

For bespoke builds that depend on other systems. Not needed for most projects.

  • Each third-party system you rely on connected to for real, not judged from its sales page
  • A test of what each one lets us read, write and trigger, and where it refuses
  • The pieces worked out together on paper before any build starts: what talks to what, in which order, and who owns the data at each step
  • A written finding: what works, what does not, and the route we would take around anything that does not

Most projects do not need this, which is why it is separate. When a build depends on several systems agreeing with each other, the risk is not the website, it is the join. Finding out that a join cannot be made after the build is agreed is the expensive way to learn it. This is the cheap way, and it means the build is quoted on what has been proved, not on what was hoped.

Enquiry build

From £1,500

For businesses that mainly need to be found and to get enquiries. A proper site and payments, without a booking system.

50% to start, 50% on delivery.

  • Up to 6 pages, designed and built bespoke rather than dropped into a template
  • Card payments through Stripe, or lead capture straight to your inbox
  • Content management, so you edit your own copy and pricing without a developer
  • Domain, hosting, DNS and business email configured properly, all in your name
  • Analytics installed and configured, with goals and events that mean something
  • Technical SEO, structured data and Google Business Profile
03

Attention build

From £2,500

For businesses that need to be found, and need the enquiries that arrive while they are busy to be caught rather than lost.

50% to start, 50% on delivery. Monthly retainer £149.

  • Everything in the Enquiry build
  • Mobile-first, Google-ready from day one
  • Auto-reply to web enquiries within 60 seconds
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimisation
  • SEO foundations: titles, meta, schema and indexing
04

Order build

From £3,500

Everything in Attention, plus customers booking or ordering and paying for themselves, without ever double-booking you.

Typically 4 to 8 weeks. Monthly retainer £249.

  • Up to 8 pages, with booking and service pages included
  • Real-time availability, calculated server-side rather than cached and hoped for
  • Double-booking prevented by a database constraint, not application logic: impossible, not unlikely
  • Payment captured at the point of booking through Stripe, so the slot is paid for before anyone turns up
  • Automated transactional email: confirmations, reminders, cancellations
  • Admin dashboard: bookings, customers, revenue, exports
  • Cancellation, rescheduling and refund handling, without a phone call
  • Online ordering and recurring subscriptions, with delivery priced by postcode
  • Basic follow-up for enquiries that don’t convert
05

Full Line build

From £6,000

Everything in Order, plus quotes, job sheets, the customer list and the tools your team uses once the customer has gone home.

The back office, not just the shop front. Monthly retainer £399.

  • Up to 12 pages
  • A bespoke CRM: customer records, full history, notes, and the fields your trade actually needs
  • Job and order management, with status tracked from enquiry through to paid
  • Document generation from live records: job sheets, worksheets, quotes, invoices
  • Resource scheduling for staff, bays, rooms or equipment, not just a diary slot
  • Date-driven automation: service due, renewal, follow-up, certificate expiry
  • Role-based access control, so not everyone sees everything
  • Reporting written in English, not a wall of charts
  • Multi-step follow-up and re-engagement sequences
  • Integration with your existing tools and calendar
  • A customer portal or account area, where the trade needs one
  • A retention system to bring past customers back

Every trade has one thing it cannot afford to get wrong and currently keeps on a whiteboard: an allergy in a kitchen, an MOT date in a garage, a treatment note in a clinic, a certificate expiry on a site. Same system, different fields. Working out which fields are yours is what the Diagnostic is for.

Automation layer

£500 – £6,000

Once your information is in one place and correct, the jobs on top of it can run themselves. This is the rung that removes the admin rather than tidying it up. Added to a build. Not sold on its own.

What is inside them

Eight capabilities. Every build is some of them.

What goes into the builds above. Most use three or four.

01

Websites and web apps

Marketing sites, web applications and online shops, designed and built for you, not assembled from a template. Mobile-first, because most of your customers arrive on a phone. Fast, found in search through proper technical SEO and structured data, and built with a CMS so you can change your own words and prices without paying anybody.

Also calledweb designweb developmentonline shope-commercelanding pagebrochure site

02

CRM design and implementation

One place for every customer, job and conversation, designed around how your business actually runs rather than bent to fit somebody else’s software. Your existing records migrated in from whatever you are on now, staff accounts with role-based permissions, full history, and reporting you can export.

Also calledcustomer databaseclient recordsjob cardspatient recordscontact managementcustomer list

03

Booking, ordering and payments

Live availability, capacity limits and slot reservation that cannot double-book. One-off orders, recurring subscriptions and deposits, taken through Stripe. Full e-commerce where you need a shop, or a single checkout where you do not. Automatic confirmations, reminders, cancellations and refunds. Stock and availability tracked so you never sell what you have not got.

Also calledbooking systemonline bookingappointment schedulingreservationsdiary systemorder managementcheckoutcard payments

04

Workflow and business automation

The repetitive work that eats your week, handed to the system: quoting, chasing, scheduling, reminding, invoicing, reconciling, reporting. Connected to the tools you already pay for, such as accounting, calendars and card terminals, rather than replacing them.

Also calledprocess automationback-office systemsadmin automationintegrationsconnecting your systems

05

Customer portals

A secure area where your customers book, order, pay, reschedule, track a job and download an invoice themselves, without a phone call or a password reset. Your team gets its own view, showing only what that person needs to see.

Also calledclient loginmember areaaccount areacustomer self-serviceclient dashboard

06

Secure data and compliance

Customer, medical, dietary and financial records held properly: encrypted, access controlled, auditable, and kept somewhere you can point to if you are ever asked. We have built allergen handling for a meal-prep kitchen, launching soon, where getting it wrong is a hospital problem, not a paperwork one. The same care applies to a clinic’s notes or a garage’s service history.

Also calledGDPRdata protectiondata securityaccess controlaudit trailuser permissions

07

Enquiry handling and document generation

Your own data put to work: enquiries triaged and drafted on arrival, documents written from live records, questions answered in plain English against your own history. Every answer traceable to the record it came from.

Also calledenquiry triageauto-drafted repliesquote generationdocument automationnatural-language search

08

Ongoing support and measurement

The work that starts the day the build goes live rather than ending there: keeping it running, keeping it safe, and measuring whether it is earning. Priced as a retainer rather than a project, because it does not finish.

Also calledmaintenancewebsite supportretainerhostinganalyticsreportinguptime monitoring

Built for trades and jobs (with a quoting app from £50 a month), equipment hire and gyms and classes, for businesses in Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol and across the UK.

Ongoing

Kept running after launch.

Every month you get a short note: what the daily check found, what we fixed, and whether anything needs you.

  1. £149 – £399 /month

    Monthly retainer

Hosting, backups, security updates, small changes, and a daily check on the live system, so a failure reaches us before it reaches your customers. Someone who knows your system, on the end of the phone. £149 with the Attention build, £249 with Order, £399 with Full Line. The Enquiry build’s is quoted with it.

A short note every month: your speed and search-health scores, what the daily check found, what we fixed, and whether anything needs you. Quoted with every build, so the running cost is never a surprise later. The minimum term is three months from the start of the build, because that is when fast fixes matter most. After that you can stop it whenever you like: you own the same things either way, and the handover covers running it yourself.

WhatsApp message fees are charged by Meta and paid by you directly. Most small businesses stay within the free monthly allowance.

  2. £750 – £1,250 one-off

    Social Essentials

30 days of Facebook and Instagram posts: three a week, about 13, each with an image and a caption written for your business, and added to your own app. Every link is tagged, so a booking can be traced back to the post that caused it.

We build the posts; we do not post for you. The photos and any claims are yours to supply and approve.

  3. £1,800 – £2,500 one-off

    Social Plus

Everything in Essentials, with up to five posts a week (about 21) and short videos made from your own footage. We set up ads for up to two of the posts, and at day 30 you get a report of which posts brought bookings and enquiries, and a call to go through it.

Ad spend is separate and is yours. We build; we do not post for you.

  4. £500 /day

    Ad hoc

    Anything outside a package.

Priced by the day, agreed before the work starts.

The awkward questions

Answered here, so you don’t have to ask.

Can you do it cheaper?
We can do it smaller. Tell us which parts matter most and we will quote a phase one. What we cannot do is build the same thing for less, because the price is the work.
I can get a website for £500.
You can, and if a website is genuinely all you need, you should. If what you have is a booking or ordering process, a £500 site will not touch it.
What if you get hit by a bus?
Everything is in your name and documented at handover. Another developer picks it up and carries on. That is precisely why we do it that way.
How do I know it will work?
You will know within eight weeks, because it is counted from the day it goes live. Not opinions: how many people came, how many booked, and what they paid.
Can we do revenue share instead?
No, though we understand why you asked. It means we carry your marketing risk on a build we have already paid for in time. We are happy to phase the build so you spend less up front.

Tell us what breaks when you get busy.

The first step is a call, and it costs nothing: twenty minutes on what your business does and what breaks when you get busy. Most projects then start with the £450 Diagnostic: half a day walking your process end to end, with a written recommendation and a fixed quote, credited in full against a build if you go ahead within thirty days. If you already know which package you need and its scope is clear, we quote it directly.
